Public events have inherent risks involved.
By participating in a Wilshire Square Neighborhood event, activity, meeting, or other engagement (collectively “Events”) you agree to do so at your own risk. Wilshire Square Neighborhood is not responsible for any risk of bodily, injury, death, or other harm, whether those risks are known or unknown.
By participating in Wilshire Square Events you agree to forever release the Wilshire Square Neighborhood, the City of Santa Ana, any Wilshire Square affiliated organization, and their respective directors, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, contractors, and representatives (collectively “Releasees”) from any and all actions, claims, or demands that you, your assignees, heirs, distributees, guardians, next of kin, spouse and legal representatives now have, or may have in the future, for injury, death, or property damage, related to (i) your participation in these Events, (ii) the negligence or other acts, whether directly connected to these Events or not, and however caused, by any Releasee, or (iii) the condition of the premises where these Events occur, whether or not your are then participating in the Events.
You also agree that you, your assignees, heirs, distributees, guardians, next of kin, spouse and legal representatives will not make a claim against, sue, or attach the property of any Releasee in connection with any of the matters covered by the foregoing release.
Insurance Requirements
Commercial participants in Wilshire Square Neighborhood Events shall hold an active insurance policy that includes coverage for participation in the Events and shall add Wilshire Square Neighborhood and the City of Santa Ana as additional names insured as required.
Medical Release
Participants in Wilshire Square Neighborhood Events will be responsible for any medical expenses for injuries sustained while participating in or as a result of participating in Events. Wilshire Square Neighborhood will not be liable for any medical expenses as a result of participation of Events.
By participation in Wilshire Square Events you agree that you have read, understood, and freely agree to these terms. If you do not agree to these terms you will not participate in the Events.
